Facebook, the place to be ? No thank you !

If you like killing the time on Web, make you a lot of new contacts, to participate in often stupid discussions, to discover new applications or still to make jokes to your friends, then it is whom you are on Facebook. But attention on the respect for the private life with Facebook !

About 40 Web sites, among which sites of e-business, decided to use Beacon, a marketing tool was spread by Facebook with his partners. It allows to draw the purchases of the members and to list them on their personal pages, the idea being the following one: if a visitor observes that one of his friends bought such object, he will buy it maybe too.

 Attention on the respect for the private life! He can seem surprising, even shocking, to ask to his subscribers for their political tendencies and for their sexual affinities … Then naturally, and as for everything on Facebook, the Internet user is not forced to answer, either can choose to mask this information, but the fact is that if we wish it we can be completely engaged.

For me it is a very narcissistic website. I speak about me, what I like, what I want, me, me, me.

If we want to discuss certain subjects, there are already the forums, the blogs, or even to make own Web site.

As for friends’ notion, it remains very often very virtual and superficial, unlike sites as sortirsurparis, which really facilitate the relations in the true life.
